I’m one of Wales’ most experienced theatre directors with 40 years experience of acting, writing, directing and producing. I specialise in creating theatre for young audiences and my work has been performed in numerous countries from Canada in the west to South Korea in the east.

Mari Rhian Owen

Assistant Director - Education

With Arad Goch since the start as an actress, writer and teacher, I support the educational aspects of the company. Sometimes leading drama workshops in schools for children and teachers, at other times developing Welsh in Iaith Trwy Ddrama (Language Through Drama) workshops or supporting new writers with their work. I like a variety!

Nia Wyn Evans

Admin Manager

I have worked at Arad Goch since 2003, and I’m the one that looks after the budgets, contracts, all of those interesting things! I’m originally from Llanbrynmair, but decided to stay around Aberystwyth after graduating in Law and Business. I live on a farm in Talybont, with my husband Deulwyn, and 3 children, Mirain, Lleucu and Wil.

Simon Lovatt

Technical Manager

My work takes me all over the place... from setting up a room in Canolfan Arad Goch, to lighting a show the other side of the world! As Technical Manager I get to do a wide variety of things from day to day, and the pleasure of working with lots of very talented freelancers.

Carwyn Blayney

Marketing Manager

I’ve worked with Cwmni Theatr Arad Goch since 2016 since graduating from Aberystwyth University with an MA in Creative media. As well as marketing Arad Goch’s work, I also direct, programme and produce events and I lead the AGwedd drama club.

Ann Penny

Clerk

I have worked as a Clerk with Arad Goch since 1991 and I am responsible for keeping the accounts on the Sage programme. I also do various administrative work.

Lowri Steffan

Funding Development Officer

I joined Arad Goch at the beginning of 2018 as a Funding Development Officer. I have also been an actress for over 20 years and run my own styling business. This role is a perfect opportunity to combine both my business and artistic interests – and it suits me down to the ground!

Schools Liaison Officer (Temporary)

I’ve been working with Arad Goch since January 2018 with numerous roles. At the moment I do all of the company’s school contacting work and I arrange tours of our educational theatre work.

Anne Evans

Schools Liaison Officer

My work involves a lot of contacting schools. I arrange all of the company’s educational theatre tours, as well as contacting schools about upcoming Arad Goch events, creative learning projects and theatre tours of shows.

Marc Thomas

Technician

I’m Arad Goch’s latest team member. I assist with lots of different aspects of Arad Goch’s technical work, especially for events that happen at Canolfan Arad Goch.
