Opening Doors Fesival 2024 – Save the Date!
For the first time since 2019, Opening Doors – Wales’ international theatre festival for young audiences – is back. This will be the 10th Opening Doors Festival that Cwmni Theatr Arad Goch has organised, and it promises to be a very special event once again.
Between 12 – 16 March 2024, theatre companies from all over the world will descend on Aberystwyth and other venues in Wales to perform. Aberystwyth will be buzzing with performances in theatres, halls, schools, on the promenade, and even on the beach, with opportunities for everyone to sample some of the world’s best productions for young audiences.
As well as the productions from Wales and international productions, the festival will also bring theatre practitioners and programmers from all corners of the globe to Aberystwyth, making the festival a great opportunity to showcase the best of Wales’ performing arts scene.
The festival aims to give children, young people and families in Wales the chance to see some of the world’s best theatre productions. The programme will include 10 productions from Wales and 7 international productions over a period of 5 days. There will also be workshops, discussions and social events all over Aberystwyth, with the festival offering a valuable platform for collaboration, sharing ideas and creating new international relations.
